GET TO KNOW ME
I work at the intersection of strategy, telling stories, and communicating to people.
I have worked in advertising, brand and product planning, and creating messages that are focused on the audience. I began my career in creative and design roles, which taught me a lot about how ideas are made, developed, and brought to reality. Over time, my job organically moved from doing things to developing plans. I began to concentrate less on creation and more on establishing objectives, significance, and narrative.
In all of my employment, I have often been the connector between creative, business, and leadership teams. I prefer it when things need to be made apparent, like putting everyone on the same page, making hard ideas easy to understand, and helping groups talk to each other with a purpose. I worry about how ideas land and what they make people think, feel, or do, whether I'm working on brand positioning, audience strategy, or getting people to work together.
At Columbia University, I'm working on my Master of Science in Strategic Communications. My research is on strategic story, how to influence people, and how to communicate within organizations. I'm mainly interested in publishing and cultural institutions, where language, ideas, and long-term narrative are highly crucial.
I live in New York City and am searching for a hybrid career that focuses on brand strategy, strategic communications, or audience development. I would rather work for a company that emphasizes thoughtfulness, curiosity, and purpose over speed for the sake of speed.
